Dahlias at Summergarden’s
Dahlias are one of the stars of our garden—vibrant, generous, and impossibly photogenic.
With over 100 different varieties now in our extended nursery, these blooms bring an explosion of colour and magic to the summer season.
Whether you’re here to pick a bucket for your kitchen table, a special event, or simply to nourish your soul, we promise you'll leave uplifted.
Even the bumblebees can’t resist their charm—come see why.

Pick-Your-Own (PYO) Dahlia Experience

Pick Your Own
There’s nothing quite like wandering through rows of blooming dahlias, hand-selecting each stem for your bouquet. It’s slow, mindful joy—and it’s become a favourite ritual for so many of our visitors.
-
PYO Buckets: $40 per bucket
-
Bookings are essential – Spaces are limited, especially on weekends and holidays.
-
Bring a Friend Special: Occasionally, we offer bring-a-friend deals—follow us on social to stay updated!
We open for PYO most days during peak season and often host special twilight sessions or Valentine’s Day events, where you and your partner can surprise each other with flowers picked from the heart.
One lovely visitor called it “soul food.” We couldn’t agree more.
Come pick our Dahlia's in summer!

Seasonal update
When in season our blooming dahlias are supporting the Growers Market and you’ll find us with bouquets most weeks in summer.
Preparation is underway for next summer’s expanded season.
We’re adding new beds, new colours, and new magic.
While PYO is closed for now, watch this space—we’ll be announcing open days and booking links as soon as new flushes begin.
